The course features real grass greens and aprons maintained year-round, but does not irrigate fairways to conserve water resources in the arid climate. During summer months, fairways brown naturally, and players use artificial grass mats for fairway shots, allowing year-round play. This water-conscious approach aligns with sustainable practices appropriate for hot, dry climates while keeping green fees affordable. Founded by Robin Houry, the course operates as a family-run business emphasizing a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
