Viking Golf & Country Club

Viking Golf and Country Club is a 9-hole golf course located on the east edge of Viking, Alberta, bordered by open grain fields to the south and east. The course features a friendly layout suitable for both low handicappers and beginners, with fairways situated on rolling terrain that plays wide open. Water hazards come into play on approximately half the holes.

The signature challenge is the dogleg 7th hole, which features a small, elevated green with a sloping surface that presents considerable difficulty. Many golfers require three shots to reach the putting surface on this hole. The course operates seasonally from May through October and hosts numerous tournaments annually.

Viking Golf and Country Club offers regular weekly events during the summer months, including Men's Night on Tuesdays, Ladies Night on Wednesdays, and Seniors Mornings on Wednesdays. The facility is conveniently located adjacent to the town's sports grounds with an RV park nearby.
