The par-71, 6,324-yard Championship Course at Viewpoint opened in 1996 and features generous tree-lined traditional fairways, immaculate greens and panoramic mountain views. Michael Rus is the architect of Championship at Viewpoint Golf Resort. Located in Mesa, Arizona near the Superstition Mountains, the course provides a traditional golf experience designed to accommodate golfers of varying skill levels. With more than 40 bunkers and lots of water hazards, strategic course management is a must. Four sets of tees accommodate players of all ability levels.

The Championship Course provides a fair test of skill with generous, rolling fairways lined with trees and some greens that are severely sloped from back to front. With numerous sand bunkers and water hazards that come into play in the form of three lakes and a small creek, the course makes strategic shot-making a priority. The course provides a scenic atmosphere with panoramic mountain views and cascading waterfalls throughout. The course is easy to walk.
