Vidbynäs

Vidbynäs Golf is an 18-hole championship course located in Turinge, Nykvarn, approximately 48 kilometers south of Stockholm in Södermanland. The facility comprises two distinct nine-hole courses: the North Course and the South Course, designed by renowned American architect Brian Curley.

The North Course, called "Vilddjuret" (The Wild Beast), features a mountainous and varied terrain surrounded by dense pine forest. Each hole stands independently within the natural landscape, offering a challenging alpine-like experience with minimal development interference.

The South Course, described as Curley's masterpiece, winds through rolling Södermanland countryside with spectacular views. The course features well-designed generous greens protected by deceptive drainage areas and naturally formed bunkers, presenting a championship-level test of golf.

The setting emphasizes natural beauty, with both courses integrated into pristine forest and meadow environments. The facility extends beyond golf, offering a 80-room hotel, two restaurants including Brasserie Vidbynäs, padel courts, and access to outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, and local attractions including Taxinge and Gripsholm Castle. Membership includes access to both Vidbynäs and the affiliated Kallfors course.
