Vesper Hills Golf Club was established in 1971 on 400 acres of scenic farmland near Tully, New York. The front nine holes were designed by renowned architect Geoffrey Cornish and completed in 1979. The course sits on land with agricultural heritage, reflecting the region's farming history.

After decades of decline under out-of-town ownership, the course was purchased and revitalized in 2012. Significant improvements were undertaken, including extensive infrastructure upgrades to drainage and irrigation systems, installation of new gravel cart paths, a rigorous turf maintenance program, and a modern fleet of golf carts and maintenance equipment.

The clubhouse underwent complete renovation in 2012, transforming it into a fully modernized facility while maintaining rustic farm decor that honors the property's agricultural background. The course now operates as both a golf venue and hospitality destination, featuring The Loft Restaurant and sports bar. The setting combines rolling farmland terrain with maintained golf facilities, offering a rural golfing experience in upstate New York.
