Located in Malagueño, Córdoba, Valle Golf Club is an 18-hole course designed by Nicklaus Design. Situated at the foot of the Córdoba sierras, the layout integrates the natural topography of the region with native vegetation and water features. The course is accessible via Ruta Provincial C45 and is positioned approximately 15 minutes from the provincial capital, Alta Gracia, and Villa Carlos Paz. The course offers five sets of tees to accommodate various skill levels, ranging from the gold tees at 7,330 yards for professional tournaments to the red tees at 5,172 yards for amateurs. The design philosophy emphasizes challenging yet playable conditions, featuring large, undulating greens and a significant number of bunkers. The difficulty is characterized by strategic decision-making, with out-of-bounds areas, cross bunkers, and water hazards frequently coming into play. The front nine begins with a wide fairway par 5 that offers scenic valley views, followed by a sequence of demanding holes. The fourth hole, a 442-yard par 4 from the black tees, serves as the longest hole on the course and is defended by a wide cross bunker and out-of-bounds on both sides. The seventh hole is a distinctive par 5 noted as the most difficult on the course, requiring precise long shots to navigate a deep channel that runs along its left side and in front of the green. The back nine introduces significant water hazards, particularly on the 10th and 16th holes, which share a large lagoon. The 10th is a strategic par 4 where the fairway curves toward the water, while the 16th is a dogleg right that forces players to choose between aggressive and conservative approaches. The course concludes with the 18th hole, a par 4 featuring a divided fairway and a heavily sloped green, providing a dramatic finish to the round.
