Vaaler Creek Golf Club

Vaaler Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Blanco, Texas, within the Rockin' J Ranch community, approximately 40 miles north of San Antonio. The course was fully opened in July 2009 and was designed by Michael Lowry. It has been recognized as the #1 Golf Course in the Texas Hill Country by Golf Now, the #11 Best Courses in Texas by Golf Advisor in 2019, and the #10 Best Course Conditions in the USA by Golf Advisor in 2015.

The course features well-placed bunkers and water features designed to provide a challenging yet accessible round for players of all skill levels. The setting encompasses over 1,000 rolling acres of Hill Country terrain, set amidst ancient sea beds and limestone canyons. The design incorporates historic ranch elements, with some 150-year-old structures and landmarks integrated into the clubhouse and course layout.

The course offers membership programs for property owners in the community, along with stay-and-play packages featuring nearby Tuscany Heights Condominiums. Monthly scrambles and various tournaments are regularly hosted throughout the year.
