TPC Deere Run is a championship golf course located in Silvis, Illinois, in the Quad Cities region, approximately two hours west of Chicago. Designed by D.A. Weibring, a former PGA TOUR professional, the course stretches 7,256 yards at par 71 across the rolling landscape of a former Arabian horse farm. The layout masterfully incorporates the area's natural terrain, featuring wooded ravines and views along the picturesque Rock River.
The course presents a significant challenge to golfers of all skill levels, with five sets of tees ranging from championship tips exceeding 7,200 yards to women's forward tees at 5,179 yards. Golf Digest ranked TPC Deere Run No. 42 among the United States' 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses, while Golfweek Magazine placed it among Illinois's top five courses.
Since 2000, TPC Deere Run has hosted the PGA TOUR's annual John Deere Classic, held in July the week before the British Open. The tournament attracts top professional talent and has served as a qualifier for The Open Championship, helping launch careers of notable PGA TOUR professionals.
