Located in Tochigi City, Tochigi Prefecture, Tobu Fujigaoka Country Club is a 36-hole, par-72 facility designed by Masashi Okubo. The course opened in September 1997 and is characterized by its forest setting, which demands precise shot-making throughout the round. The layout is divided into an outward nine and an inward nine, both offering distinct strategic challenges. The front nine presents a mix of doglegs and elevation changes. The second hole is a demanding par-5 that requires a long carry over a creek, while the fifth hole offers a straight shot toward Mount Nantai. The ninth hole is a water-carried par-3 featuring a two-tiered green that penalizes inaccurate approaches. The back nine introduces more complex routing, including the left dogleg par-5 fourteenth and the uphill par-4 sixteenth. The eighteenth hole finishes with a right dogleg and a water hazard guarding the front of the green. Water hazards and out-of-bounds areas define the course's difficulty. The eleventh hole is a par-3 with three bunkers guarding the right side of the green, and the tenth hole requires careful navigation along an OB zone to reach the green. The course features Bent grass greens and offers both caddie-assisted and self-play options. The facility is equipped with GPS-enabled carts and has hosted events such as the Mari Okawa Pro round lessons.
