Tiburon Golf Club is a beautiful 27-hole golf course, with over 12 acres of natural rolling hills and lakes. Located off Highway 370 on 168th Street in Omaha, Nebraska, the course consists of three nines randomly combined for eighteen hole play. The three nine-hole courses were designed by Dave Barrett and Larry Hagewood, with two courses opening in 1990 and the third opening in 1995.
The 27-hole complex is long, open, and contoured. Well-placed fairway bunkers lay waiting for off-line tee shots, grassy mounds and large bunkers protect the greens, and several large ponds put teeth in the Tiburon's bite. With 3 distinct nines, Tiburon provides variety and fun for players of all levels. A signature hole requires a well-placed tee shot with out of bounds right and a fairway bunker left, followed by a downhill approach over a lake to a narrow green.
Tiburon Golf Club was founded in 1989 by Drella Inc as an 18-hole course, with a third nine added in 1994. In 2004, it was purchased by Bob and Karen Hill. The course is a great venue for outings as small as 40 to as large as 240 players.
