The Rock Golf Course is an 18-hole sand green golf course located at the foot of Rock Hill near The Rock Nature Reserve in the Riverina region of New South Wales, approximately 25 kilometres south of Wagga Wagga. The course is set within a distinctive landscape featuring Rock Hill, known locally as "the Lion of the Plains," which frames the character of the surrounding town.
Founded in April 1914, the club became a foundation member of the Riverina Golf Association in 1925, with its official opening celebrated on 9 May 1936. The course is recognized as one of the best sand greens courses in the Riverina. The par 3 eighth hole presents one of the course's notable challenges, requiring players to navigate over a copse of pine trees.
The club hosts mixed open competitions on Sundays and veteran-friendly play on Fridays. Notable events include the annual Rock Tournament, a 27-hole competition known for its social atmosphere and catering, as well as charity events such as the Meals on Wheels 4-man Ambrose.
