The Ridge Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course located in West Valley City, Utah, nestled in the foothills of the Oquirrh Mountains. Originally opened in 1991 as West Ridge Golf Club, the course was redesigned by renowned architect Gene Bates following land acquisition by the state for the Mountain View Corridor project. Bates, known for designing notable courses including Old Mill, Riverbend, and Soldier Hollow, created a layout catering to players of all abilities.
The course offers sought-after public tee times in the Salt Lake City area and features breathtaking views of the Wasatch Front and downtown Salt Lake City. The facility includes The Overlook Grille restaurant and reception center, located on the clubhouse's top floor, providing panoramic sunset views ideal for events.
The Ridge accommodates various player levels with flexible walk-or-ride options and offers special rates for military, seniors, and juniors. The course hosts multiple competitive leagues including men's, ladies', and veterans' associations, as well as regional tournaments and high school competitions.
