The Reserve Vineyards & Golf Club is a 36-hole private and public golf club located near Hillsboro, Oregon, a suburb west of Portland. The facility features two distinct 18-hole championship golf courses designed by award-winning architects John Fought and Bob Cupp. The South Course, designed by John Fought, contains 110 bunkers across 7,172 yards at par 72. The North Course, designed by Bob Cupp, includes an 11-acre lake, a creek, and 25 bunkers over 6,845 yards. The club opened in 1997.
The South Course plays longer and straighter with many tree lines and loads of sand, while the North Course requires more target golf along its shorter layout through rolling wetlands. The South Course was named the eighth-most difficult in Oregon and SW Washington by the Oregon Golf Association in 2006. The two 18-hole courses rotate between being public and private daily.
The Reserve has hosted some of golf's most prestigious events, including The Fred Meyer Challenge (1998-2002), The JELD-WEN Tradition (2003-2006), and the Umpqua Bank Challenge (2012). Over 50 major championship winners, including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Phil Mickelson, and Annika Sorenstam have walked its fairways.
