The Quarry at Crystal Springs is an 18-hole public golf course located in Maryland Heights, Missouri, within the Creve Coeur Lake recreational area. Built on the historic site of a Crystal Springs Quarry established in 1888, the course overlooks the Missouri River Valley from a jutting bluff. The course features five sets of tees to accommodate players of all abilities, with bentgrass greens and zoysia fairways. Hole 1, a par 3, was redesigned by renowned architect Arthur Schaupeter. The layout incorporates federally protected wetlands and environmentally sensitive areas alongside vast lakes and native prairie grass. Surrounded by woods on three sides and Creve Coeur Park on the fourth, the course maintains a natural setting rich in wildlife habitat rather than typical residential development. The facility offers value pricing from $30-$57 and maintains consistent course conditions with ongoing improvements including bunker redesigns and expanded tee areas. A 40-by-60-foot pavilion accommodates group outings.
