The Plantation Course at Kapalua is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, stretching 7,596 yards at par 73. Located on the slopes of the West Maui Mountains in Lahaina, Hawaii, the course features dramatic ocean views from virtually every hole and is known for its striking elevation changes and downhill tee shots that provide an experience comparable to professional tournament play.
The course balances challenge with playability through its wide fairways and generous greens, making it accessible to golfers of varying skill levels. Notable for its distinctive 18th hole, which features an aggressive slope enabling exceptional driving distances, the Plantation Course has earned recognition as Hawaii's best golf course for fifteen consecutive years by Golfweek.
The course hosts the PGA TOUR's The Sentry each January, attracting elite golfers including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and other tour winners. The course record stands at 61, jointly held by Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, and Matt Jones, set during the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions.
