The Masters Amakusa Course is a 7,020-yard, par-72 seaside golf course located in Ushimura, Amakusa City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Opened on April 1, 1996, the course was designed by Jumbo Ozaki and Kentaro Sato. Situated on a hillside overlooking the Ariake Sea, the layout is characterized by its strategic design and expansive ocean views, with twelve of the eighteen holes offering direct sightlines to the water. The course features bentgrass greens and accommodates various skill levels through multiple tee placements. The back tees stretch to 6,693 yards, while the regular and ladies' tees measure 6,361 yards and 5,282 yards, respectively. The front nine totals 3,275 yards from the back tees, and the back nine measures 3,418 yards. The layout includes a mix of par-3s, par-4s, and par-5s, with the longest holes being the 9th and 10th holes, both par-5s measuring 526 and 530 yards respectively from the back tees. Access to the course is facilitated by its proximity to the Ariake (Kamitsupura) Interchange, located just 200 meters away from the course entrance. The facility includes a clubhouse with a restaurant, pro shop, and a side lodge offering accommodation. The course is open year-round and utilizes motorized carts for play.
