The Links Golf Course

The Links at RiverLakes Ranch is an 18-hole, 6,800-yard golf course designed by Dale & Ramsey, located in Bakersfield in California's San Joaquin Valley. Set on land that formerly supported vegetable, cotton, and almond crops, the course features a distinctive layout with notable undulations despite the flat valley terrain. The designers removed and replanted over 100 mature trees to create a natural aesthetic blending light and shade with alternating open and tight areas.

Water features include the Friant-Kern canal, which meanders through the course, along with twelve blue lakes and three lighted fountains throughout the property. The signature 18th hole features an island green, visible from the clubhouse dining area. The course integrates Canary Island Pines, redwoods, and almond trees throughout its design. Additional amenities include a night-lit driving range. The course has become popular for outings and tournaments within Kern County and serves as part of the broader RiverLakes master community in Bakersfield.
