The Links at Echo Springs is an 18-hole golf course featuring 6,875 yards from the longest tees with a par of 72. Designed by Barry T. Serafin, the course opened in 1996. Located in Johnstown, Ohio, the course is open to the public. Situated on over 230 acres of scenic rolling terrain, it is one of the largest public golf facilities in Licking County. The course sits at the third highest point in the state and winds through mature hardwood forests adjacent to a winery.
The course is links-style with very open play, though trees present challenges throughout, and water features come into play on multiple holes. At least half of the holes were carved from dense forests, while the course spills across gently undulating terrain providing a links-style touch to the layout. One of the notable holes is the 12th, a 315-yard par 4 playing over a ravine with heavy vegetation. The course rating is 72.4 with a slope rating of 127. The facility offers a short game practice area and a two-tiered practice range with professional golf instruction available.
