The Kingsley Club

The Kingsley Club is an 18-hole private golf course located in Kingsley, Michigan, near Traverse City. Designed by architect Mike DeVries, the course features wind-swept, rolling terrain shaped by glacial activity, creating an undulating landscape characteristic of northern Michigan. The layout plays firm and fast on fescue grasses and draws inspiration from links-style golf courses of the British Isles.

The course is situated within dense forest and rolling terrain, offering a secluded setting while remaining accessible to the Traverse City area. Membership is invitation-only and caters to golf purists seeking an exclusive experience. The club has received significant recognition, including rankings in Golf Digest's Top 5 in Michigan (2021), Golfweek's Top 30 Under 30 (2021), GOLF Magazine's Top 100 Courses (2022), and USA Today's Top 100 Golf Courses (2025). The course was also recognized as one of the best 18 holes designed since 2000. The property includes on-site member cottages, providing accommodation for members and guests.
