The Gallops Golf Course is a 9-hole woodland course featuring 2 par 3s, 6 par 4s, and a par 5. The course offers 3 teeing areas for players of different abilities. Located on a 70-acre site within Leicester, the course has a forest-like setting with woodland and abundant wildlife. The course is home to Roe deer, muntjac deer, Red Kites, Buzzards, Barn owls, Herons, and Foxes.

The opening hole is a short par 4 requiring an accurate tee shot through mature trees with a bunker approximately 50 yards from the green. Another challenging hole is a par 4 where accuracy off the tee is essential, with a draw being favored, while another par 4 requires a straight drive followed by an iron shot to an hourglass-shaped green protected by a ditch and bunker. The course was developed on the site of the former Oadby council-run course which had closed. The course is open to everyone with no dress code requirements.
