The Falls at Barber Creek

The Falls at Barber Creek is an 18-hole public golf course located on 230 acres in northern Kent County near Kent City, Michigan. Originally opened as a 9-hole course in 2007, the full 18-hole layout was completed in 2015. The course features dramatic elevation changes and scenic views of woods, water, fields, and meadows, complemented by white fences and hand-made stone structures, including a distinctive 40-foot waterfall.

Each hole offers four sets of tees with Kentucky bluegrass fairways, Scottish-style fescue roughs, and sculpted creeping bentgrass greens and tees. The course presents a challenging layout for golfers of varying skill levels. Notable amenities include a 400-yard driving range with a bentgrass tee box opened in spring 2023, a mountain lodge-style clubhouse, a pavilion accommodating up to 200 people, and 72 GPS-equipped golf carts. The facility employs an experienced golf course designer and superintendent along with PGA professional staff to support daily play, leagues, tournaments, and instruction programs.
