The Country Club at The Golden Nugget

The Country Club at Golden Nugget is an 18-hole, par 72 golf course located on the bayou in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Designed by California-based architect Todd Eckenrode and Origins Golf Designs, the course spans 7,000 yards and features open fairways with immaculately-kept Bermuda greens surrounded by native marsh landscaping. The course presents a moderate challenge suitable for various skill levels while offering scenic bayou views and well-maintained playing conditions.

The facility includes a full clubhouse with plush locker rooms, a dedicated pro shop, and the Chart House seafood restaurant, which provides sunset views over the course. The Country Club offers a complimentary GPS-enabled mobile app with 3D flyovers, yardage guides, and live scoring capabilities. Amenities include club rentals and junior rates for players under 18. The course operates Wednesday through Monday from 8am to 4pm and accommodates group rates for parties over 20 golfers.
