The Buckhorn Golf Course

The Buckhorn Golf Course is a championship layout designed by Art Schaupeter, ASGCA, located in Comfort, Texas in the heart of the Hill Country. Situated halfway between Boerne and Kerrville near Interstate 10, the course is conveniently accessible to golfers from San Antonio and Fredericksburg.

The course utilizes the natural terrain to its advantage, incorporating a 100-foot elevation change throughout the layout, along with pristine creeks and valleys that create scenic vistas of the surrounding Hill Country landscape. Known throughout South Texas for being an enjoyable golf course maintained in exceptional condition, The Buckhorn features a championship design that challenges golfers while delivering an excellent playing experience.

The facility includes an expansive practice area and recently added Toptracer Range technology, providing golfers with advanced practice options. The course offers instruction programs including junior golf camps and academy programs, as well as organized leagues and outings. The Buckhorn is recognized for its commitment to junior golf development in the Hill Country region.
