The course was designed by Kim Hak-young and opened in September 2007. Located in Seogwipo-si on Jeju Island at an average altitude of 190 meters, the 18-hole layout stretches 7,259 yards with six tee positions available. The course is divided into two distinct sections, the Teddy Course and the Valley Course, each offering different strategic challenges. The lower elevation keeps the course less affected by fog, wind, and rain, allowing play throughout all four seasons. The terrain weaves through dense Gochawol natural forests and open plains, with views of Hallasan, Sanbangsan, Hyungje Island, Marado, and Gapa Island visible from various points. Fairways are surfaced with Bermuda grass, which permits cart access, while Bent grass and Ryegrass overseeding maintain year-round conditions. Strategic hazards include sand bunkers, grass bunkers, water features, creeks, and trap trees, with each hole designed to offer appropriate difficulty and character. The Valley Course is equipped with night lighting facilities. A distinctive feature is the Donor's Hole, a 19th hole where players can make charitable contributions that support education, healthcare, and environmental initiatives on Jeju Island. The course has hosted several professional tournaments, including the KLPGA BC Card Classic in 2008, the KLPGA Doosan We've Championship in 2023 and 2024, and the KPGA Tour Championship in 2025. It has been recognized as a five-star course by Golf Magazine Korea for three consecutive years from 2023 through 2025.
