Te Puia Hot Springs Golf Club is an 18-hole course located 5km north of Te Puia Springs on New Zealand's East Cape, situated on a hilltop plateau overlooking the Pacific Ocean with views toward Mount Hikurangi and the Raukumara Ranges. The course plays to a par of 66 for men (4,478 metres) and par 68 for women (4,078 metres), with slope indices of 111 and 102 respectively.
The layout features raised tees, deep gullies, forested fairway edges, streams, and lakes that create a scenic and challenging round. The course is characterized by natural hazards and undulating terrain typical of its elevated setting. A country clubhouse with bar and kitchen facilities operates on club days, complemented by an elevated deck providing panoramic views.
The club welcomes visitors year-round with affordable green fees ($20 for 18 holes, $10 for 9 holes). The course hosts the East Coast Open Annual Tournament, a prestigious two-day match-play event held for over 50 years that attracts amateur golfers from throughout New Zealand.
