Te Awamutu Golf Club

Te Awamutu Golf Club is an 18-hole course located five minutes from Te Awamutu town centre in the Waipa District, New Zealand. The course is characterized by mature tree-lined fairways and quality greens, offering a walking-friendly layout that provides challenge for advanced golfers while remaining accessible to beginners.

The course is situated on State Highway 3 at Kihikihi Road and is regarded as one of the premier golf courses in the Waipa District. Its relatively easy walking terrain combined with varied hole difficulty makes it suitable for golfers of different skill levels.

The facility includes comprehensive golfing amenities: a 14-bay driving range, a chipping and pitching practice area with fairway and green, and golf carts available for hire. The club also operates a junior programme through its Waipa Juniors initiative, welcoming children from five years old. The clubhouse and course facilities are available for corporate, private, and service club functions accommodating 10-150 people.
