Tamarisk Golf Course

Tamarisk Golf Course is a 9-hole regulation course located in Syracuse, Kansas, along the Arkansas River. Designed by Rick Bucton and opened in 1996, the course stretches 3,251 yards from the longest tees with a par of 36. It features a course rating of 34.9 and slope of 111, presenting moderate difficulty.

The layout is characterized by somewhat undulating greens and fairways lined with tamarisk bushes, along with mature trees surrounding various holes. Water hazards come into play on two holes, while scattered sand bunkers add strategic challenge. The course is fully irrigated and abundant wildlife inhabits the property.

The facility includes a clubhouse overlooking a lake, offering a 19th Hole Golf Shop, snack services, and a practice area with a driving range and chipping/putting green. Golf carts are available for rent, and walk-ons are accepted. The scenic riverside setting and natural Kansas landscape provide the course's primary aesthetic appeal.
