Tamarack Country Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by Charles H. Banks, a protégé of renowned Golden Age architect Seth Raynor. Located in Greenwich, Connecticut, the course opened on July 4, 1929, and was immediately recognized as a premier layout. Built across rolling hills in back country Greenwich, the design features template-styled holes inspired by European courses.

The course is characterized by large greens, deep bunkers, and deceptive terrain that provides a significant test of golf. Notable features include dramatic green surrounds and strategic bunkering. From the 1950s through 1962, Tamarack co-hosted the prestigious Ike Championship, attracting top amateur golfers from the Metropolitan area. The course has hosted major tournaments, including 2022 U.S. Amateur sectional qualifying.

In 2024, Renaissance Golf Design completed an extensive restoration under architect Brian Schneider, meticulously recreating Banks' original design intent using historic photographs and documentation. The restoration included reconstructed green complexes, expanded tee areas, and strategic tree removal to restore sightlines. The project was recognized by Golf Digest as a Best Renovation candidate. Tamarack is consistently ranked among Connecticut's best courses by Golf Digest and Golf.com, and recognized by Golfweek as one of America's top classic courses.
