Tamamura Town Ground Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 facility located in Tamamura, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. Opened on September 19, 1976, the course was designed by architects Kono Hoshio and Neji Noguchi. The layout spans 6,572 yards from the blue tees, offering a total of 72 holes of play across three sets of tees. The course is divided into an out and in loop, each carrying a par of 36. The front nine features a mix of par-4s and par-5s, anchored by the long 542-yard 1st hole and the 553-yard 6th hole. The back nine introduces more significant length, highlighted by the 593-yard 15th hole, which serves as the longest stretch on the property. The 18th hole closes the round at 321 yards. Handicap indices are distributed across the holes to balance the difficulty, with the 1st hole designated as the stroke index 1 and the 3rd hole as stroke index 15. The course provides yardage markers for blue, white, and red tees, allowing for varied playability. The red tees reduce the total yardage to 5,268 yards, while the white tees offer a 6,224-yard challenge. Management of the course is handled by Sansho Green Co., Ltd., with General Manager Yoh Kato overseeing operations. The facility is situated at 5006 Kadochidani, Tamamura-cho, Sawa-gun, Gunma.
