The course is set within the rolling wooded hills of Shenango Valley, featuring lush green-watered fairways and fast bent grass greens bordered by native hardwoods and pines, with panoramic valley views.

The course is rated four-star by Golf Digest and recognized as "One of Pennsylvania's Finest Public Courses," presenting a challenge suitable for all skill levels.
