Takaka Golf Club is a nine-hole links course with a full 18-hole layout located in Clifton, Golden Bay, New Zealand. Sculpted from coastal dunes, the course features undulating holes and well-maintained greens that present a challenge for golfers of all abilities. The setting offers panoramic views of Golden Bay and surrounding mountains, creating a scenic coastal golfing experience. The course is characterized by tricky, well-paced greens typical of links-style golf. Originally established in 1946 at an East Takaka location, the club relocated to its current Clifton site in 1961. The course welcomes both visitors and new members, offering a relaxed atmosphere suitable for holiday play or weekend rounds. It has garnered recognition from accomplished golfers, with one visitor who has played every registered course in New Zealand describing it as "a tremendous example of coastal, links type golf and a real pleasure to play."
