Taieri Lakes Golf Club

Taieri Lakes Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located 15 minutes south of Dunedin's Octagon in North Taieri, New Zealand. Designed by Commander John Derring Harris RN, the par-72 course stretches 5,924 metres through scenic countryside featuring tree-lined fairways and four tranquil lakes that integrate the natural landscape into play.

Established in 1920 and relocated to its current site in 1969, the course offers a sheltered golfing experience, typically 3–4°C warmer than central Dunedin due to protection from north-easterly winds. The course has undergone recent enhancements, including two new holes constructed around a newly created lake, completed in December 2020.

The layout combines beauty with challenge, utilizing the area's natural features effectively. The course appeals to golfers of all skill levels, from experienced players to weekend enthusiasts. Its evolution over recent decades has established it as one of the region's premier courses, making it a notable destination within the Dunedin metropolitan area.
