Tai Tapu Golf Course

Tai Tapu Golf Club is a 9-hole course located 16 km from Christchurch along the Akaroa Highway, nestled in an arc of the Halswell River at the foot of the Otahuna Valley. The course was voted the favourite 9-hole course in New Zealand in a survey conducted by New Zealand Golf.

The layout is compact and picturesque, featuring tree-lined fairways and generously sized greens that accommodate golfers of all abilities. Each hole presents a distinct challenge, with the course design taking advantage of its scenic countryside setting while remaining accessible to players of varying skill levels. The course is well-maintained and designed to suit different playing styles.

The facility includes a clubhouse with a spacious balcony and bar service. The course operates as both a members' club and welcomes green fee players, with availability varying by day. Equipment hire and golf carts are available through the clubhouse office.
