Tagaytay Midlands Golf is a championship course located within the 1,300-hectare Tagaytay Highlands resort development in the Philippines. The course features multiple nine-hole layouts with distinct character, including the newer "Midlands Lucky 9" designed by John Olenoski, an experienced architect previously with Arthur Hills and Associates and Nicklaus Design. The course is situated at 1,000 to 1,500 feet above sea level and offers panoramic views of Taal Lake and volcano. The layout presents significant challenges with well-protected greens, small putting surfaces, and numerous natural and man-made hazards including deep ravines, bunkers, grassy hollows, tree lines, and water features. Players encounter blind approaches and deceptive terrain throughout. The setting combines both challenging play with scenic beauty, allowing golfers to enjoy views of the Tagaytay Highlands' Swiss cable car system and surrounding landscape.
