The Sycamore Course at Eagle Creek Golf Club in Indianapolis is an 18-hole course featuring 6,568 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71, designed by Pete Dye and Timothy Liddy and opened in 1975. The course rating is 74.4 with a slope rating of 138. The scenic and challenging Sycamore course blends a mixture of hilly terrain, tree-lined fairways and water holes with a more traditional links-style flavor that adds exciting variety to this championship layout. The course is set through a natural parkland setting that incorporates numerous nature areas, wetlands, animal habitats and rolling terrain. Signature holes include hole #15 and the signature finishing hole #18. The original course at Eagle Creek, made up of 17 holes from the Sycamore course and one hole from the Pines course, hosted the 1982 U.S. Amateur Public Links.
