Swingrite Golf Centre

Swingrite Golf Centre is a practice and short-course facility located in Taunton, Somerset. The centre features a 9-hole pitch and putt course measuring 831 yards (756 metres), with holes ranging from 73 to 104 yards. The course presents a good challenge for beginners while offering experienced golfers an opportunity to develop short-game skills, with notable features including bunkers and elevated greens.

The facility also includes a comprehensive practice area with 12 indoor bays and 6 open-air bays equipped with state-of-the-art Powertee automated teeing systems, a practice bunker, chipping area, and putting green. The floodlit driving range allows year-round practice regardless of weather conditions. Golf lessons are available from PGA professional Mike Steadman, who brings 40 years of experience and has competed at professional levels including European Tour and PGA Cup competitions. The centre offers club and ball hire, plus a golf shop stocking major brands and equipment repair services.
