Swanhills Golf Course

Swanhills Golf Course is a parkland-style course located in Belvidere, Illinois, east of Rockford. Opened in 1995, the course features wide fairways, inviting greens, and strategically placed hazards that create a blend of playability and challenge suitable for golfers of all skill levels. The layout offers an uninterrupted scenic experience with no residential housing along the fairways. The course is designed to be both challenging and accessible, providing a welcoming environment for both seasoned and beginning golfers. Beyond the fairways, Swanhills offers indoor facilities capable of accommodating up to 100 guests for meals, auctions, and other gatherings. The course maintains a commitment to affordable golf while prioritizing quality playing conditions under the supervision of superintendent Susan Spahr, CGCS, who has overseen the course's maintenance since its inception.
