Swallow Hall Golf Course is a family-run pay-and-play facility located near Wheldrake village, just 7 miles south of York city centre off the A19. Established in the early 1990s, the venue has been developed from a working farm into a leisure complex featuring two golf courses and a driving range.

The course is situated in a tranquil setting backing onto Forestry Commission woodland, providing a scenic natural environment. As a pay-and-play operation, Swallow Hall does not require advance tee-time bookings, allowing visitors to arrive and play at their convenience.

The facility includes The Roost clubhouse, which operates Wednesday through Sunday, offering food and beverages to golfers and the public. In addition to golf amenities, the complex provides on-site holiday accommodation in the form of cottages and a touring caravan site with modern facilities.

The Academy Course and driving range are operational, while course closures are managed seasonally. Opening hours extend from 7am daily, with last payment times varying by format: 2:30pm for 18 holes, 3:30pm for 12 holes, and 4:00pm for 9 holes and the driving range.
