Sunset Ridge Country Club

Sunset Ridge Country Club is an 18-hole private golf course located in Northfield, Illinois on the North Shore. The facility serves approximately 650 member families and features comprehensive amenities beyond the golf course, including a Short Game Practice Area, Indoor Golf Learning Center, and a Practice Range.

The club has undergone significant recent improvements, winning the 2006 Private Club Golf Course Renovation of the Year award from Golf, Inc. magazine. The clubhouse facilities also received recognition, earning a Club Management Magazine Design Showcase award in 2005. Over a 15-year period, the club invested nearly $50 million in comprehensive renovations and improvements to both course and facilities.

Beyond golf, Sunset Ridge offers six clay tennis courts, six pickleball courts, six platform tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a skeet and trap range. The club maintains an active social calendar throughout its February-through-December operating season, hosting member events including parties, weddings, business meetings, and family gatherings.
