Stonewall Orchard Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course in Grayslake, Illinois, designed by renowned architect Arthur Hills in his first Illinois project. The layout features a par 72 championship course stretching 7,124 yards, complemented by a 4,968-yard junior short course. The design showcases rolling hills, tranquil wetlands, and more than 65,000 mature pine and oak trees, creating a landscape reminiscent of Carolina golf courses.
The course has hosted multiple US Open Qualifiers, Illinois PGA Professional Championships, and serves as a six-time host venue for the Korn Ferry Tour Qualifier. It was ranked as the 3rd best public course in Illinois by Golf Week Magazine. The natural rolling terrain and mature trees provide distinct challenges for golfers of all skill levels. Each hole maintains its own character and difficulty. The course offers a country club environment in a public setting, with amenities including a practice facility, lessons, and instruction clinics for both junior and adult players.
