Stonebridge Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course measuring 6,253 yards with a slope rating of 119 and course rating of 69.8. The course was designed by James & Elder and opened in 1922. The layout spans 175 acres of scenic West Virginia countryside near Martinsburg in Berkeley County. The terrain varies from flat to hilly, with trees affecting play and water hazards coming into play on more than half the holes, while sand bunkers feature on seventeen holes.

The signature hole is #10, a 423-yard par 4 that is very scenic with large trees on the left and out-of-bounds on the right. Hole #13 is a difficult par 3 of 200 yards from the tips, and the par 5 #14 is the number one handicap hole with a pond located in front of the green. The West Virginia U.S.G.A. recognizes the eighteenth hole as potentially one of the finest finishing holes in the state.

Originally named Opequon Golf Club, the property's limestone Bungalow-Adirondack lodge-style clubhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The back nine was added in 1968. The course underwent significant reconstruction efforts that brought it to current tournament-ready standards.
