Stone Canyon Golf Club Top 100 Review

Stone Canyon Golf Club is a Greg Norman Signature Design course located in Blue Springs, Missouri, near Kansas City. The course opened in 2009 and was immediately recognized by Golf Magazine as one of the "Best New Courses You Can Play." It received further accolades in 2012 when Golf Magazine named it one of the Top 3 Best Public Courses in Missouri.

The layout features Norman's signature design characteristics, including closely mown green surrounds, creative bunkering, and integrated landscape accents. The course is distinguished by its dramatic setting, with rolling topography and long views toward downtown Kansas City. Rock walls and stone outcroppings are integrated throughout the design, creating a visually striking landscape. The signature hole is the 381-yard, par-4 3rd hole, which features a green set within an amphitheater of rocks.
