Ostersund Froesoe Golf

Östersund Frösö Golfklubb is a golf course with roots extending back to the 1930s, officially established in 1947 and among Sweden's first clubs admitted to the Swedish Golf Federation in 1949. The course features an 18-hole layout and a 9-hole pay-and-play course, with the main course stretching nearly 6,000 meters from its original design, which has remained largely unchanged since its inception.

Located on Frösön island near Östersund in northern Sweden, the course offers scenic natural surroundings with distinctive views over the landscape. The club provides facilities for golfers of all levels, from beginners to competitive players, with a TrackMan driving range and professional coaching academy led by Pro Alex Sverin.

The course includes amenities such as a golf restaurant, equipment rental facilities, and accommodation options through partnerships with nearby hotels and caravan spaces. The club hosts various tournaments and competitions throughout the year and maintains an active junior golf program.
