Designed by renowned Irish architect Eddie Hackett, the course has matured significantly over its operational history. The course is characterized by its strategic design and demanding green complexes. The facility includes a clubhouse pavilion opened in 1999, featuring a veranda overlooking the ninth green where players can relax after their round. The grounds are maintained by Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council. As a public course, it welcomes visitors and accommodates society bookings, providing accessible golf to the local community and visitors to the Dublin area.
