St. Laurence Golf

St. Laurence Golf is a 42-hole golf facility located in Lohja, approximately 50 kilometers from Helsinki. The course comprises two full-length courses—Kalkki-Petteri and Pyhä Lauri—plus a 6-hole Par 3 course, all situated within the same club environment.

Both full courses were designed by Kosti Kuronen and offer distinct characteristics. Kalkki-Petteri is an open, park-like layout that appears gentle but reveals its challenge through elevated greens and precise line requirements. Pyhä Lauri is a more strategic course emphasizing shot planning and accuracy, featuring varied terrain with sandy areas, pine forest rhythm, and strategically placed water hazards. The signature hole 7 on Pyhä Lauri is particularly memorable.

The setting is notable for its mature elm trees and well-maintained grounds featuring lush fairways and flowering rhododendrons, creating an attractive environment for both golfers and club visitors. The facility is described as family-friendly and surprisingly accessible despite its natural, established character.
