Spud Run Golf ☆ Follow

Spud Run Golf is a 9-hole backyard golf course with a par of 34, located in the rolling hills of Chillicothe, Ohio. The course was designed around a bentgrass green and creek, with the creek positioned to create unique approach angles from each location. Each of the nine tee positions offers a completely different golf experience, utilizing natural topography, strategic creek placement and varying distances. The greens are a defining feature, built with noticeable movement that introduces challenge through slopes and run-offs rather than sheer speed.

The course was created by Jeremy Forcum and has become a destination attracting golfers from around the world, some arriving by private jet. The fully playable backyard golf layout is paired with an Airbnb stay. What separates Spud Run from traditional courses is the freedom it affords, with no tee times, no pace-of-play pressure, and no expectation of formal scoring, allowing guests to play holes out of order, replay favorites, or treat the layout as practice ground.
