Springbrook Greens State Golf Course

Springbrook Greens State Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Sterling, New York, in northern Cayuga County on Lake Ontario. Situated on nearly 200 acres, the course features a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere with roomy layout and stunning views. The signature 11th hole overlooks Sterling Marsh with distant views of Lake Ontario.

Under new family management since spring 2021, the course has undergone significant improvements. Nearly all greens have been expanded and are maintained to high standards. The course is rated and part of the GHIN system. Facilities include restrooms on both the front and back nine—a notable feature in the area—and the clubhouse is located a half-mile from Fair Haven Beach State Park, offering visitors access to one of upstate New York's finest public lakefronts.

Recent enhancements include new golf carts, expanded tees with some rebuilt, and a liquor license obtained in 2022. The course operates daily from one hour after sunrise until sunset during the regular season, weather permitting. It is positioned as a public destination course emphasizing accessibility and playability for golfers of all backgrounds.
