Spring Meadows Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Gray, Maine, designed by architect Bradley Booth and shaped by renowned golf course shaper Fred Stone. The course was developed by the Pollard family, who transformed their family dairy farm into a premier golf destination. Construction began in May 1998, with a 9-hole trial opening in October 1999 and expansion to the full 18-hole layout by 2001.
The course is recognized by Golf Digest as "a venue worth the drive" and is noted as one of Maine's premier golf courses. It features pristine conditions and well-maintained fairways with true greens. The design incorporates several unique holes that present both challenge and beauty across the landscape. Stone's shaping expertise, informed by his father's work with legendary designer Robert Trent Jones Sr., brought technical sophistication to Booth's architectural vision.
The facility includes an elegant event center housed in the family's restored 1922 barn, available for weddings and social gatherings. Superintendent Steve Hoisington oversaw the course's construction and maintenance for over 15 years, establishing the high standards for which the course is recognized.
