Southport Golf Links is an 18-hole championship course located on Park Road West in Southport, Merseyside, situated on reclaimed land bordering the Irish Sea. Originally opened in 1912 as a 9-hole course, it was extended to 18 holes during the 1930s by renowned golf course architect Harry Shapland Colt, one of the world's leading designers of his generation.

The course's unique setting on coastal reclaimed land provides distinctive playing conditions shaped by its maritime environment. Sefton Council has made substantial investments in the course to accommodate modern golf club and ball technology, ensuring it remains competitive with contemporary standards.

The layout offers flexibility with options for both full 18-hole rounds and 9-hole play, catering to golfers of varying abilities and time constraints. Green fees are competitively priced, with weekday rates lower than weekends, and special twilight tickets available during summer and winter months. Junior memberships are notably free for players aged 16 and under, while senior discounts apply to players over 60 on weekdays.
