Shirkey Golf Course

Shirkey Golf Course is an 18-hole championship-style semi-private course located in Richmond, Missouri, near Kansas City at the intersection of Highways 210 and 13. Designed by renowned golf course architect Chet Mendenhall in 1969, the course features Zoysia fairways and tee boxes with Bent grass greens. The par-71 layout offers four sets of tees, accommodating golfers of varying skill levels with yardages ranging from 5,500 to 7,020 yards. The course presents a challenging design with a rating of 73.9 and a slope of 126. Golf Digest recognized Shirkey with a 4½-star rating as a top public course in the Kansas City area. The facility includes a driving range, pro shop, banquet room, and restaurant, serving as a venue for regional tournaments and community events while striving to provide an excellent experience for golfers of all abilities.
